Job description

As our new Production / Process Operator, you will join our Operations team and play a key part in the production of our intermediates and our final product, Vitamin K2. You will in addition to production activities from A-Z perform simple maintenance and correctly log in batch protocols.

This is a unique opportunity to become a member of a team where each individual contributes and shares their knowledge, supports each other, and appreciates SOPs for a safe and efficient production process. Throughout, you will help drive continuous improvement while keeping safety and quality first. This is a shift-based position reporting to the Operations Lead.

Job summary:

  • Daily, hands-on operation of production, including control of raw material quantities, preparation of solvents, cleaning of production equipment as required, maintaining batch protocols, continuous monitoring of important production parameters, waste management, etc.

  • Reception, registration, sampling and control of raw materials, intermediates and final product.

  • Labeling and storage of raw materials, intermediates and final products according to SOPs and batch protocols

  • Planning and implementation of minor preventive maintenance work.

  • Contribute to the development of new and/or updated SOPs and other documentation (checklists, logbooks, etc.)

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with equipment or processes

  • Monitoring and recording production data and making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and safety standards are met

  • Working together with colleagues to optimize production processes and improve efficiency

  • Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment


Job requirements

Candidate profile:

  • Relevant work experience as a production / process operator within chemical, pharmaceutical, food or other chemical process facility.

  • Vocational training certificate as a process operator / process technician (fagbrev kjemiprosess) combined with relevant work experience in the process industry.

  • Good technical insight

  • Experience with organic chemistry is an advantage

  • Experience with automation is an advantage.

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Norwegian or other Scandinavian language is an advantage
