Job description
As our new Production Engineer, you will become a member of a startup team of a top-modern chemical production facility with unique and exciting technology and a high degree of complexity. You will operate the production facility, carry out maintenance, log in batch protocols, as well as participate actively in our continuous improvement work. This is a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the art plant built after high safety standards, at an international organization in growth. All our employees must have full focus on teamwork, HSE and quality. This is a 1 ½ year contract.

Description:
• Receive, register, sample and check raw materials, intermediates and final
products.
• Daily, "hands-on" operation of the process plant both on the floor
and from the control room, including checking raw material quantities,
preparing solutions, cleaning production equipment as needed, batch protocols,
continuous monitoring of important production parameters, waste management, etc.
• Labeling and storing raw materials, intermediates and final products
according to SOPs and batch protocols.
• Development of new and/or updating of existing SOPs and other documentation
(checklists, logbooks, etc.)
• Ensure that HSE and quality procedures are always followed and complied with.
• You will be part of the unit's shift schedule (2 shifts). We operate from
0700 to 1900 on weekdays.
Job requirements
Candidate profile:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a production engineer or operator in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food or other process industry.
- Experience with GMP or Food GMP is an advantage.
- Preferably B.Sc. or M.Sc. in chemistry
- Good technical insight (preferably experience with organic chemistry), machine understanding and good IT skills. Automation skills is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
- AAble to work in shifts.
