Scope:

Within the financial department provides direct administrative support in the ongoing development of financial tasks to ensure that the department meets the legal and intercompany requirements.

Essential functions

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative duties including data entry

  • Input financial transactions, invoices, preparation of supplier payments…

  • Prepare accruals

  • Responsible for depreciations USGAAP and BEGAAP

  • Prepare month and year end closings

  • Prepare reconciliations

  • Responsible for Intrastat

  • Prepare VAT declarations

  • Support and preparation of various audits

     

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or knowledge acquired through > 5 years’ experience in similar job environment

  • Good knowledge of VAT legislation

  • Good language skills: Dutch, English

  • Experience in Microsoft based accountancy program

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel

  • Eager to learn
