Job description

As Laboratory Operator / Production Operator, you will operate the production of our intermediates and our final product, Vitamin K2 - as well as perform simple maintenance, log in batch protocols, and actively participate in our continuous improvement work. Responsibilities:

  • Receipt, registration, sampling, and control of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

  • Daily, hands-on operation of the production, including control of raw material quantities, preparation of solvents, cleaning of production equipment as needed, batch protocols, continuous monitoring of key production parameters, waste management, etc.

  • Labeling and storage of raw materials, intermediates, and final products according to SOPs and batch protocols.

  • Planning and implementation of minor preventive maintenance work.

  • Contribute to the development of new and/or updated SOPs and other documentation (checklists, logbooks, etc.)

  • Ensure that HSE and quality procedures are always followed and complied with.

Job requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant work experience as an operator or laboratory assistant in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or other laboratory production. Experience with GMP or Food GMP is an advantage.

  • Vocational certificate as a process operator / process technician combined with relevant work experience in the chemical industry. B.Sc. in chemistry will also be considered.

  • Good technical insight (experience with organic chemistry is an advantage), machine understanding, and good IT skills. Automation skills are a plus.

  • Good communication skills in English, written and verbal.
